Visual Terminal Charts

Visual Terminal Charts, known as VTC, give a close view of the area around a major airport. Western Airmotive stocks the VTC range at its pilot shop at Jandakot Airport in Perth, and you can order online.
VTC charts available
The range includes VTC Perth, VTC Karratha/Broome, VTC Adelaide/Melbourne, VTC Alice Springs-Ayres Rock/Darwin, VTC Brisbane-Maroochydore/Gold Coast, VTC Oakey/Brisbane/Rockhampton, VTC Mackay/Whitsunday, VTC Cairns/Townsville, VTC Coffs Harbour/Tamworth, VTC Canberra/Albury, VTC Hobart/Launceston and VTC Sydney/Newcastle-Williamtown/Sydney General Flying Guide.
Choosing the right chart

VTC covers the terminal area in detail.
Visual Navigation Charts (VNC) cover a wider area for navigation.
Terminal Area Charts (TAC) are listed separately, including TAC 5/6 Perth.

Which chart do I need?
Each VTC covers a named area, so pick the one that matches the airports you fly from and to. Perth pilots will want VTC Perth, and if you are flying further afield the list above shows the other areas, each as its own product. Check the edition on the product page, because charts are updated and you will want the one you are working to.
Many pilots buy a VTC together with the Visual Navigation Chart for the same region. The VNC category lists VNC Perth, VNC Adelaide, VNC Melbourne and the other sheets. If you want to see a chart before you buy, you are welcome to call in at the pilot shop, where the team can talk you through the options.
Check the edition on each product page before you order. Visit the Western Airmotive pilot shop at Jandakot Airport, Perth, or order online.
