World Aeronautical Charts

World Aeronautical Charts, or WAC, cover large areas at a scale suited to cross-country planning. Western Airmotive stocks the WAC charts at its pilot shop at Jandakot Airport in Perth, and you can order online.

Each chart is listed with its edition and WAC number. Examples include Albany – 20th Edition (WAC 3462), Esperance – Edition 14 (WAC 3461), Port Augusta – Edition 16 (WAC 3459), Hamilton – Edition 17 (WAC 3469), Melbourne – Edition 17 (WAC 3470), Sydney – Edition 17 (WAC 3456), Canberra – Edition 16 (WAC 3457), Broken Hill (WAC 3355), Bourke (WAC 3356), Armidale (WAC 3357) and Tasmania (WAC 3556). Before you order

Search by name or WAC number to find the sheet for your route.
Check the edition on the product page.
For more detail near cities, add the VTC or TAC chart.

Finding your WAC
Each WAC is listed by place name, edition and WAC number, so you can search the category by either. For example, Albany is WAC 3462 and Esperance is WAC 3461, both of which are useful for flying in the south of Western Australia. For wider coverage, there is a wallet WAC and a Special Island Coverage chart. The category holds 43 charts in all, so use the product list to browse the full set. Chart editions change over time, so read the edition on each product page and confirm it is the one you want before you order.
